Curriculum for "Project Coaches"

The participants of this curriculum will be enabled to work as professional project coaches.

Intensive attention will be given to the following topics as part of this course:

• What does project coaching mean?
• What are the differences between a project coach and a personal coach or other similar roles?
• Which elements does project coaching consist of and who is the coaching client?
• Which processes, methods and tools are utilised by project coaches?
• How relevant are the project coach’s values and attitudes?
   

Target Group:

• You are a well experienced project manager (possibly being certified according to an international project management standard)
• You were already exposed to difficult project situations and could develop skills for conflict and crisis resolution
• You have a profound knowledge of the project management standards (methods, PM-processes, tools) as well as the PM-instruments within your company
• You are a coach wishing to broaden your potential client base and your spectrum of possibilities
• You are eager to be able to pass on your knowledge and experience to colleagues at work in an appropriate way
• You would like to develop your personal skills

Admission Criteria:

• Minimum age of 25 years
• Completed professional training and at least 3 years of professional experience
•  „Project Management Basics“ or a comparable education and
• „Project Management Processes“ (start, controlling and close-down of projects) or a comparable education
• A minimum of 3 years experience as project manager or within a project management office / project management centre of competence
