Claims and Contract Management

You will gain an understanding of the basic concepts of claims and contract management, as well as the commonly used instruments. You will learn which role claims management plays in the different project management processes – project start, controlling and close-down. You will be introduced to the different forms of claims policy in a company, cultural differences and their impact on claims management.
Intensive work on case studies and the simulation of negotiations (optional) will reinforce the theory of contract and claims management. Different aids will be presented which you can apply to your daily work routine.
